The finance department at We’koqma’q First Nation consists of a Chief Financial Officer and a small team of clerks who handle the day to day operations of the Band government and its commercial operations. With a focus on growth, the finance team also continues to grow and adapt to new business ventures and reporting requirements in addition to handling all accounting and finance tasks for the Band.
The finance department works closely as a team to ensure the Band’s directors, executives and Chief & Council have reliable financial information for which to make decisions to foster the growth of the community.
